DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for
reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work
(2 Timothy 3:17 - NASB).
1.
There
is one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect, holy,
eternally existent in three co-equal persons – Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. God is gracious, merciful, compassionate, abounding in
steadfast love and is the righteous judge of all men.
2.
The
Lord Jesus Christ is truly God and truly Man, conceived by the Holy
Spirit, born of a virgin, sinless and perfect. He died sacrificially
as our substitute for our salvation and justification. He rose
bodily from the dead and ascended to His Father’s right hand where
He now ministers as our Great High Priest.
3.
The
Holy Spirit is personal and fully God, possessing all the divine
attributes. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and
judgment. At regeneration, He baptizes believers into the body of
Christ and dwells in them permanently. The Holy Spirit seals
believers, setting them apart for a holy life.
4. The Bible is verbally inspired of God,
inerrant in the original documents, and of supreme and final
authority in all matters of faith and practice.
5.
Mankind was made in the image of God, but every member of the human
race is fallen and sinful. As a result, mankind incurs death, both
physical and spiritual. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is
absolutely essential for salvation. Redemption is wholly by the
blood of Christ and comes by grace through faith in our Lord Jesus
Christ. Every true child of God possesses eternal life.
6. The church, as a whole, is not an organization
but a living organism, known as the body of Christ. The local church
is composed of believers in a locality. Though autonomous, the local
church exists in vital union with all other believers. They gather
in Christ’s name as a corporate testimony to the Lordship of Christ
and to the oneness of the body of Christ.
7. The Lord Jesus will return. At that time,
there will be a bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust,
everlasting blessedness of the saved and everlasting conscious
punishment of the lost.
